2 individuals arrested in Beirut for trafficking forged currency

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On this date, the Intelligence Directorate arrested 2 Syrian individuals for trafficking forged Lebanese currency. The first was caught in possession of a monetary amount of 50 000 LBP bills and the second was caught in the possession of several forged currencies of different bills.

The investigation was carried out with the arrested individuals under the supervision of the relevant authorities.
