7 arrestees in Bebnin for their involvement in Wadi Al-Jamous clashes

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Following the previous statement concerning the incidents that took place in Wadi Al-Jamous last night, an army force raided with the support of the Intelligence Directorate a residential compound in Bebnin – Akkar. It arrested 7 individuals involved in the clashes, and seized a weapon and munition warehouse containing:  17 guns and machine guns, 9 Sniper rifle, 2 handguns, a grenade launcher, 2 hunting rifles, 16 RPGs, 111 smoke shells, 28 hand grenades, around 51.000 bullets of different calibers, and Military equipment and their accessories.

The arrestees and the seized items were turned in to the competent judicial authorities. The remaining perpetrators are being tracked in order to be arrested.
