The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun toured over 1st year cadet officers in the military academy
The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun toured this morning the Military Academy in Fiyadiye where he met with the Commander of the Academy and its officers as well as the 1st year cadet officers who enrolled last week.
The Armed Forces Commander spoke with the cadets saying: your course is that of competence. It is flawless in terms of the results of the difficult tests you have gone through. There is no influence from any political or non political side in your success. General Aoun also stated that “just as competence is the only standard for your acceptance in this academy, no cadet officer will graduated as of today from this academy if they weren’t armed with the same competence.”
General Aoun added: you are the Elite of Lebanon’s youth, you have willingly chosen the military life, which is a tough life full of dangers and challenges that requires you the ultimate levels of sacrifice, bravery and heroism. Therefore, your only belonging should be for the institution and the nation, for you are the messengers of the LAF in your villages, you are its promising future and thanks to your sturdy arms, the military institution will last for long generations.
