We have named this barrack after martyr Major Roger Harfouch, in appreciation of his sacrifices and to confirm that the LAF will not forget the martyrs. The LAF will keep its vow, offering further sacrifices. We have faced major challenges in the past, but we are fully prepared to do more.”

General Aoun also stated that the LAF Command is working on developing the military hospital and supporting the military healthcare in region in order to lighten the administrative burdens and the troublesome long distance commute from beneficiaries.

General Aoun also called on soldiers to be more vigilant so that they are responsible and at the hopes of the Lebanese. He also stressed the importance of keeping away from everything that targets professionalism and ethical values, particularly narcotics that lead to the destruction of the youth.
