The Armed Forces Commander inspected several military units deployed in Tripoli and its suburbs

The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun inspected this morning several military units deployed in Tripoli and its suburbs where he toured the training facility of the 1st Intervention Regiment in Ras Masqa and inspected its situation and different training activities. General Aoun then moved to the headquarters of the North military region in Qebbe – Tripoli where he toured it along with the headquarters of the 12 brigade and he was informed of the situation of the forces deployed in the region as well as the missions performed with the aim of preserving the security and stability of the city.

The Armed Forces Commander also stressed before the officers and soldiers, the importance of qualitative and professional training in boosting the level of competence and the performance of combat units in general as well as the upcoming reception of modern equipment, reaching the achievement of ultimate productivity. General Aoun also confirmed that the security in the country is under control and that protecting national stability is out ultimate priority. Moreover, General Aoun called upon the troops to intensify their efforts and measures in order to enroot this stability and be fully prepared to keep up with different national elections, mainly the election for the chamber of deputies next spring.
