The Armed Forces Commander visited the central military hospital to inspect the medical exams of the candidate cadet officers in the military academy

The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun visited this morning the central military hospital in Badaro where he inspected the medical exams of the candidate cadet officers in the military Academy. General Aoun then met with the head of the medical unit, members of the examining committee, doctors and medical officials who are supervising the exams and provided them with the necessary directives. General Aoun also confirmed that his existence in this place is a message for everyone that the competence represented in the test results and the ranking of contestants according to the required number is the only criteria to enter the military academy. The army will not allow any interference whatsoever in these exams, which is also the stance of all official authorities in the country, mainly the President of the Republic General Michel Aoun, the Head of the deputies council Mr. Nabih Berri and Prime Minister Cheikh Saad el Hariri. General Aoun also stated that this contest will be an example of the army’s commitment to competence, integrity and balance of opportunities for the Lebanese youth.What he said in audio included: ….
