Army Arrests a Citizen for his Involvement in a Kidnapping and Another for Drug Use and Trafficking

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

A Lebanese Army unit raided the residence of citizen (A.A.) in Akroum – Akkar, and arrested him for his involvement in a kidnapping that took place on November 3, 2026. A quantity of weapons and ammunition was also seized during the raid.

In a separate operation, another Army unit arrested citizen (AA.K.) in the city of Tripoli for drug use and trafficking. A quantity of drugs was found in his possession and seized.

The seized items were handed over, and investigations were initiated with both arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
