Army Arrests Shooter Following Armed Clash That Killed Three People and Injured Others in Al Roueissat – Al Jdeideh

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On September 18, 2026, an armed clash occurred in Al Roueissat – Al Jdeideh, resulting in the death of three people and injuries to others. An Army unit immediately arrived at the scene, contained the clash, and carried out security measures and several raids to bring the situation in the area under control. The weapon used in the clash was also seized.
Following a series of surveillance and security follow-up operations, the Army arrested the citizen (AA.L.) for shooting, on September 19, 2026.
The seized items were handed over, and an investigation with the arrestee was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
