Army Arrests Two Wanted Individuals for Various Crimes, Including Firing at an Internal Security Forces Patrol and Forming an Armed Robbery and Theft Gang

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
An Army unit raided the residences of wanted individuals in Ras Al Ain – Baalbek and arrested Lebanese citizen (H.M.), who was wanted for firing at an Internal Security Forces patrol, threatening a Lebanese Army soldier by force of arm, and insulting the military institution. Weapons and military ammunition were seized in his possession.
Another Army unit arrested Lebanese citizen (A.H.) in Laylaki – Southern Suburbs (Dahiyeh Janoubiyeh) for committing several crimes, including forming a gang involved in armed theft and robbery, drug trafficking, impersonating a security officer, opening fire, and instigating altercations.
The seized items were handed over to the competent authorities, and an investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
