The army carried out a raid and seized a quantity of weapons and military ammunition

The Lebanese Armed Forces Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On July 7, 2026, an army unit carried out a raid on the homes of wanted individuals in Al Sharawneh - Baalbek. During the operation, two Syrian, identified by their initials (K.M.) and (AA.Z.), were arrested for trafficking Hashish. The army seized a quantity of drugs, weapons, military ammunition, and military equipment.

The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
