The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

An Intelligence patrol arrested an individual in Sfeir for the use and trafficking of narcotics. The mentioned individual was caught in the possession of a various amount of narcotics, military equipment and mines.

Moreover, another patrol arrested an individual in Sed el Baouchrieh driving a Dacia with no legal documents, accompanied by another individual, for the trafficking of narcotics and for attempting to escape the patrol and hit a vehicle as well as resist the members of the patrol. The mentioned individuals were caught in the possession of several narcotics and an amount of money, the patrol also arrested an individual driving a Nissan, for buying narcotics and attempting to escape the patrol and resist its members.

Investigations with the arrested individuals were carried out under the supervision of the relevant authorities.
