Army Command warns against endangering stability and civil peace

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
In light of the ongoing Israeli attacks on various Lebanese regions and the increasing challenges facing the country, recent calls have emerged urging citizens to gather and protest in pursuit of several demands.
While the Army Command affirms its respect for the right to peaceful expression of opinion, it strongly warns against any actions that may endanger stability and civil peace or lead to attacks on public and private property. It also stresses that the army will intervene firmly to prevent any breach of internal stability, at a time when Lebanon needs the highest levels of awareness and responsibility.
The Command also calls on citizens to comply with the instructions of the deployed military units.
