Army Commander-in-Chief General Haykal Meets Officers and Soldiers in the South on Army Day: We Believe Every Inch of Our Land Is Rightfully Ours, and We Reject the Continued Israeli Occupation of Any Part of Our Territory

Army Commander-in-Chief General Rodolph Haykal inspected the South Litani Sector Command at the Benoit Barakat Barracks in Tyre, the Fifth Infantry Brigade in Al Shawakir -Tyre, and the Fifth Intervention Regiment in Kfardounine, where he reviewed the operational situation and the missions being carried out within the area of responsibility.
During his tour, General Haykal met with officers and soldiers, congratulating them on the occasion of Army Day. He expressed his appreciation for their dedication and commitment, emphasizing that their sacrifices, rooted in their conviction and belief in their mission, are beyond measure.
Highlighting the importance of maintaining steadfast determination among military personnel, General Haykal stressed that Lebanon draws its strength from the army, and that the success of the military institution depends on the combined efforts of all its units and personnel.
Addressing the troops, he said: "We believe that every inch of our land rightfully belongs to us, and we reject the continued Israeli occupation of any part of our territory. The sacrifices of our martyrs and wounded will not be in vain. We will continue to stand by our people and support their return, no matter how great the challenges."
He concluded: "We believe in one united and indivisible homeland, defended by one army that protects its borders and safeguards its stability."
