Army Commander-in-Chief Visits Units Deployed in Beirut and Its Surroundings, Offers Condolences to the Families of Fallen Soldiers, and Tells Troops: “The Challenges Ahead Are Great, and We Have No Choice but to Continue our sacrifice and dedication”

Army Commander-in-Chief General Rodolph Haykal visited the 11th Infantry Brigade in Naqqach, the 3rd Intervention Regiment in Manara, and the 4th Intervention Regiment at Henry Chehab Barracks.
After reviewing the operational deployment of the units, General Haykal met with officers and soldiers and congratulated them on the occasion of Army Day. He stressed that the military institution remains steadfast thanks to their tremendous efforts and continues to fulfill its duty during one of the most challenging periods in the nation's history.
He also noted that the Lebanese people's affection for and confidence in the Army are the result of the dedication shown by soldiers across all areas of service.
Emphasizing that maintaining security and internal stability remains a top priority, he addressed the troops, saying: “Your vigilance in safeguarding security is a fundamental factor in ensuring the continuity, recovery, and unity of our nation. The challenges ahead are great, and we have no choice but to continue sacrificing and giving.”
The Army Commander further pointed out that internal strife is one of the objectives of the Israeli occupation and must be confronted.
He concluded by stressing the importance of continuing training and strengthening the capabilities of Army units in light of the challenges facing Lebanon.
General Haykal also offered his condolences to the families of the Army's fallen soldiers, who faced danger with courage and determination and made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of the nation.
