The Army Commander also met with officers, praised their efforts and the advanced level of medical care in terms of modern equipment and advanced competence, and the great achievements in securing health care for soldiers and their families. He then stated: “Medical care is of great importance in light of the current circumstances, and the army command is exerting its utmost energies in this regard, and allocates most of the aid to support Military Healthcare in order to preserve the health of soldiers and their families." He added: "You were heroes in your response to the Corona pandemic, and you contributed to saving your comrades. You provide health care to more than 400,000 beneficiaries throughout Lebanese territories. Battles and combat missions are infrequent, unlike your daily battles to carry out your noble mission." He then addressed the exceptional situation resulting from the crisis: "The army command will continue to work with all available means to secure medical treatment and enhance its capabilities. At the same time, I call on you to make more sacrifices, and show patience and will in order to overcome the difficulties imposed by the current stage."
