Army Contribution in Searching and Rescuing Operations in Choueifat Area

On February 19, 2024, in response to the collapse of a residential building in the Choueifat area, the army units deployed in the region, along with personnel from the Engineering Regiment, actively assisted the Civil Defense and Red Cross in search and rescue operations. These operations persisted until 4:00 a.m. and contributed the retrieval of four victims and the successful rescue of four individuals.
