An Army Patrol Comes Under Fire from the Syrian Side in Al Mesherfeh – Hermel

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 14/12/2025, while an Army unit was carrying out a patrol mission in Al Mesherfeh – Hermel, it came under fire from the Syrian side. The unit returned fire at the sources of gunfire, without any injuries among the military personnel.

Following the incident, contacts were made between the Army and the relevant Syrian authorities, and the situation returned to normal.
