An army patrol under fire during a raid in the town of Sharawneh

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 6/1/2021, while an army patrol was raiding a location in Al-Sharawneh neighborhood - Baalbek after suspicion of a stolen cars present there, the patrol came under fire, forcing the personnel to respond to the sources of fire without causing any casualties.

A stolen Kia vehicle was seized, and was handed over to the valid authorities, and follow-up is underway to arrest the shooters.
