An army patrol under fire in Maqneh - Bekaa

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 12/06/2021 at around 20.00 in Maqneh - Bekaa, following the arrest of smugglers and the death of citizen (M.M), a group of young men opened fire in the air and over a patrol while passing by, which led to minor damage to the vehicles with no injuries being recorded. The perpetrators deliberately cut off the Maqneh road. Immediately, the LAF opened the road, conducted patrols and restored the situation to its normal state.
