The Army raided the residence of the wanted outlaw Samir Fawzi Mounzer at el-Raml el-Ali

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On this day, while an army patrol was raiding the residence of Lebanese citizen Samir Fawzi Mounzer in el-Raml el-Ali who is wanted for crimes that involve opening fire, abusing citizens as well as trafficking narcotics, the army patrol came under fire opened by the wanted outlaw and other militants. Army troops retaliated at the sources of fire and the clash resulted in the death of Mounzer and the injury of Mahmoud Zreik. Confiscations at the scene included quantities of weapons, ammunition and narcotics that were at the disposal of the militants.
