The Army seizes approximately 1.2 million Captagon pills intended for smuggling abroad and arrests those involved

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Following a security surveillance and monitoring operation, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate carried out raids in Sarba - Keserwan and arrested the citizens (M.K.) and (W.SH.), while they were packing approximately 1.2 million Captagon pills inside a vehicle for smuggling them out of Lebanon.

The seized items were handed over, and investigations with the arrestees were initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
