The Army seizes a drug manufacturing lab in the town of Bouday – Baalbek and arrests a counterfeiter at the Masnaa border checkpoint

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
The Army continues its campaign to combat drug trafficking and pursue dealers across various regions. In this context, on 4 December 2025, the Directorate of Intelligence, in cooperation with deployed operational units, carried out raids in Bouday – Baalbek and seized a drug manufacturing lab along with a large quantity of raw materials used in its production.
A patrol from the Directorate also arrested the Syrian (AA.AA.) at Masnaa border checkpoint for promoting counterfeit currency, and seized a forged sum of money in his possession.
The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was initiated with the arrestee under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities. Efforts are ongoing to arrest the members of the network responsible for operating the lab.
