The Army turned in the suicide bomber Omar Hassan el-Assi to the competent judiciary authorities

The Army Headquarters – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

The Lebanese Army Directorate of Intelligence turned in the suicide bomber Omar Hassan el-Assi to the competent judiciary authorities. El-Assi has confessed of all the details regarding the terrorist act since he pledged allegiance to the terrorist organization “ISIS” until he received the orders from the mentioned organization in el-Raqa and his arrival to “Costa” Café in el-Hamra Street where he was supposed to carry out the suicide bombing on 21/1/2017.
