The arrest of 4 individuals in Tripoli and Al Jahliyeh – Chouf

The Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
A patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested in Tripoli the citizen (A.H.) for his involvement, on 25/04/2024, in a clash in Al Baraniya – Tripoli that resulted in the death of another citizen (M.T.).
Furthermore, an army unit, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, raided in Al Jahliyeh – Shouf the residence of individuals who were wanted for opening fire. The citizens (D.A.Z.) and (B.Q.), along with a Syrian national (D.S.), were arrested.
A firearm, an amount of ammunition, and military equipment were seized in their possession.
The confiscated items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
