Arrest of Hasan el-Mokdad in el-Jnah

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

As a result of follow up and observation, the Intelligence Directorate arrested Hasan el-Mokdad in el-Jnah on 5/1/2019 for appearing in a video spread by social media platforms where he was seen opening fire targeting shops in the region of Ouzaï. A military weapon was confiscated during the arrest and investigation is undergoing under the supervision of the relevant judiciary authority.
