Arrest of Individuals for Committing Various Crimes, Including Forming a Theft Gang and Armed Robbery

The LAF Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
As part of the security measures carried out by the military institution in various regions, LAF units arrested 3 individuals as follows:
•    The citizen (M.A.) was arrested at the Younine checkpoint – Baalbek for being wanted on charges of shooting, and a quantity of hashish was found in his possession.
•    The citizen (Y.D.) and the Syrian (A.D.) were arrested in Qobbeh – Tripoli, as the first had previously opened fire, while the second was found in possession of a handgun.
In addition, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested in Laylaki – Southern Suburb (Dahyeh Janoubiyah) the citizen (A.A.), the head of one of the most dangerous gangs of theft and armed robbery, who had fired at a person, assaulted army personnel, threatened citizens, and was found in possession of a handgun.
Another patrol from the Directorate arrested in the town of Wadi Al Hour – Akkar the citizen (M.A.) for opening fire.
The seized items were handed over, and investigations into the arrestees' activities were initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
