Arrest of Individuals in the Town of Btebiat – Upper Matn

The LAF Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

A LAF unit supported by a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence, carried out a raid in the town of Btebiat – Upper Matn and arrested eight Lebanese citizens in addition to two non-Lebanese individuals for possession of firearms and a quantity of ammunition. Preliminary investigations revealed that they are not affiliated with any terrorist organizations.
The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
