Arrest of two individuals in Choueifat and Sahraa Choueifat for committing various crimes

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 5/6/2023, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate raided the house of the citizen (M.H.) in Choueifat and arrested him. He is wanted for drug use and trafficking, robbery, theft, and shooting.

The aforementioned directorate also arrested a Syrian of Palestinian origin (AA.A.) in Sahraa Choueifat area wanted for drug abuse and trafficking, and sneaking into Lebanese territory. He is also suspected of belonging to a terrorist organization. A quantity of drugs and an amount of money were seized in his possession.

The seized items were handed over and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
