Arresting individuals while roaming in convoys

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

A group of citizens roamed in convoys yesterday and opened fire in the air between Chouf, Maaser el Chouf, Barouk and Mokhtara. The LAF intervened immediately and seized 25 vehicles and arrested 57 individuals form the convoy. The mentioned individuals were caught in possession of combat weapons and ammunition.

The arrested individuals were turned in to the relevant authorities and investigations were carried out.
