Arresting a major drug dealer in Mount Lebanon

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

In the frame of pursuing drug dealers in different Lebanese regions and as a result of follow up, the Intelligence Directorate managed after a qualitative operation at a hotel in Mount Lebanon to arrest a major drug dealer in the mentioned region and the main partner of wanted individual Ali Mounzer Zaaiter, AKA (Abou Salle) in drug trafficking. The arrested individual was accompanied by a female individual, after being monitored by the Intelligence Directorate while trafficking narcotics in Dbayeh. The mentioned individuals were caught in the possession of different types of narcotics in addition to various weapons and combat ammunition.

Investigations were carried out under the supervision of the relevant authorities.
