The arrival of the second instalment of the financial donation provided by the State of Qatar to the Lebanese Army

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 14/09/2022, the second instalment of the financial donation provided by His Highness the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani was received by the Lebanese Army as a contribution to support the soldiers in the midst of the crisis that Lebanon is going through. Equal distribution of the donation began among all soldiers today.

The Lebanese Army Commander in Chief General Joseph Aoun expressed his appreciation to His Highness the Emir of the State of Qatar for his initiatives towards the Lebanese Army, considering that the State of Qatar remains a strong support for Lebanon and its army in this difficult times, and he hopes that relations between the two armies will be strengthened in the future.
