Assisting the ISF in peacekeeping missions in downtown Beirut

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
As a result of the chaos and turbulence that spread in downtown Beirut yesterday as well as the riot and aggressions targeting private and public properties as well as the use of fireworks by a number of individuals, LAF units deployed in the area assisted the ISF in peacekeeping missions and halting aggressions. Order was restored and 9 LAF were reported injured in the process.
