A ceremony was held at the Francois Hajj Barracks in Marjaayoun for the rehabilitation of two buildings, supported by the Eastern Sector of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). The ceremony was attended by the commander of the Seventh Brigade, representing the Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief General Rodolph Haykal, and the commander of the Eastern Sector in UNIFIL, Gen. Ricardo Esteban Cabrejos.

During the ceremony, the commander of the Eastern Sector affirmed the continued support for the army and the deepening of cooperation with it under the framework of Resolution 1701. For his part, Brigadier General P.S.C. Tony Fares, commander of the Seventh Infantry Brigade, thanked the Eastern Sector and UNIFIL for their initiative and ongoing support, emphasizing the importance of this cooperation in enhancing the army's capabilities and developing military infrastructure during the current critical phase.
