The Chief of Staff inspected the commands of South Litani and the 5th Infantry Brigade in Tyr and Naqoura

The Chief of Staff  Major General P.S.C Hatem Mallak inspected this morning the command of South Litani in Tyr where he toured the units of the brigade in Chamaa, Laboune and Ras el Naqoura facing the point M2 where the Israeli enemy is establishing the isolating wall.

During his meeting with officers and soldiers, The Chief of Staff Commended their sacrifices and efforts in performing the basic mission of the army, defending the southern borders against the Israeli enemy and preserving their stability in cooperation with the UNIFIL in implementation of Resolution 1701.

The chief of Staff reiterated the official and national stance rejecting the attempt of the Israeli enemy to establish the separating wall above any Lebanese area and stated that we are not war lovers, but the army will confront with all its capabilities in case the enemy translated its threats to actions in reality. Major General Mallak also stated that the strength of a unified Lebanese stance is based on national and international map that prove Lebanon’s right in the naval and land borders it is committed to and the army will not surrender this right under any circumstance.
