Chief of Staff Visits Officer Injured by Gunfire at Al Namliyyeh Checkpoint – Dahr Al Baydar

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

The Chief of Staff, Major General Hassan Audi, visited an officer at the Lebanese Hospital Geitaoui after he was injured by gunfire at Al Namliyyeh – Dahr Al Baydar checkpoint during the arrest of the citizen (H.N.), who failed to comply with the checkpoint personnel. A military pistol and a quantity of drugs were found in the latter’s possession.

The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was initiated with the arrestee under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
