A cistern loaded with gasoline exploded in the town of Al-Talil – Akkar, a number of civilian and military casualties

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 15/8/2021 at around 2 a.m., a cistern loaded with gasoline exploded in a plot of land used to store gravels in the town of Al-Talil, Akkar after it had been confiscated by LAF. The content was about to be distributed on civilians. The explosion left a number of casualties among civilians and soldiers.
Investigations had been initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities to find out the circumstances surrounding the explosion.
