Citizen Arrested for Committing Several Crimes: Shooting, Provoking Clashes, Extortion

The LAF Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On August 4, 2025, a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence in Tripoli arrested citizen (M.H.) for committing several crimes: shooting, provoking clashes, and extortion. A military pistol and two hand grenades were seized from him.

During the arrest, the suspect opened fire at the patrol members, who responded in kind, resulting in his injury. He was transferred to a hospital for treatment.

The seized items were handed over, and investigations were initiated under the supervision of the relevant judicial authorities.
