Civilian plane wreckage discovered and victims’ bodies recovered

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Units of Navy Forces and Marine Commandos Regiment discovered the civilian plane belonging to the Lebanese Aviation Club, which fell two days ago in the sea off Halat. The bodies of the two victims who were on board were recovered 1200 meters from the beach of Halat and 30 meters deep.
Efforts are intensifying to retrieve the wreckage.
