Clarification concerning a video and pictures published on social media websites

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Certain social media outlets published a video and pictures showing civilians and soldiers in civilian Pick Up vehicles.

The Army Command clarifies that those military vehicles were picking up soldiers from the LAF – Intelligence Directorate who were on their way to handling a clash in Corniche Saida.
