A combat maneuver in the barren lands of Donniye

With the presence of several officers from the army command, major units, brigades and independent regiments, the 1st Intervention Regiment performed with the participation of the Air forces, the engineering regiment and anti-armor regiment a combat maneuver in the barren lands of Donniye, simulating attacking and taking down terrorist groups entrenched in the region.
During the maneuver, shootings with heavy, medium and light weapons took place as well as disembarkation and the evacuation of injured individuals from the battlefield using helicopters.
This maneuver comes in the frame of a qualitative training plan set by the Army Command in order to increase the level of preparedness of units and their readiness for swift and efficient intervention in different combat circumstances.
