Confiscating an amount of smuggled Diesel Oil and equipment at the Lebanese- Syrian borders

The Army Headquarters – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

In the frame of the counter-smuggling measures at the Lebanese – Syrian borders, a patrol belonging to the LAF confiscated near a dirt road in Bqeihaa - Akkar around 40 000 Liters of green Diesel Oil in addition to 3 pumps, 8 tanks with 50 000 Liters capacity each and several hoses extended to both sides of the borders.

The confiscated items were turned in to the relevant authorities in order to take the necessary measures.
