Confiscating a truck containing an amount of Captagon pills in Tripoli port while attempting to smuggle them abroad

The Army Headquarters – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On this date, in Tripoli port, during a joint operation between the Intelligence Directorate and the General Directorate for State security, Lebanese citizen H.L was arrested while attempting to smuggle a truck abroad containing around 190 Kgs of Captagon pills placed inside a secret hiding place.
The confiscated items were confiscated and interrogation with the arrested individual were carried out under the supervision of the relevant authorities.
