Counterfeit currencies promoter arrested in Nabatieh

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 23/05/2022, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested in Nabatieh – South the citizen (A.Ch.) for promoting counterfeit currencies. A counterfeit amount of 42.400.000 L.L. was seized in his possession.

The arrestee and the seized items were turned in to the competent judicial authorities.
