Denying news posted on social media outlets

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Some media outlets published pictures of officers slapping an individual while preserving security and opening roads in several Lebanese regions.

The Army Command denies any relation with the officer with hidden identity and calls upon media outlets to be delicate in publishing news related to the institution. It also warns from publishing pictures of soldiers under the penalty of legal prosecution.
