Destroying of Quantities of fireworks found in the port of Beirut

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

As part of the detection and survey work carried out by the army units in the port of Beirut, 1320 kilograms of explosives packed in 120 carton boxes were found to be stored in one of the wards.

Immediately, the personnel of the Engineering Regiment removed it, and destroyed it in a designated area.
