Destruction of 7 dunams planted with cannabis and seizure of equipment for producing captagon

The LAF Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

In the context of combating drug trafficking, a LAF unit, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, destroyed 7 dunams planted with cannabis in Zarazir - Baalbek.

Additionally, a LAF unit, accompanied by a patrol from the directorate above, raided the residences of wanted individuals in Sharawna - Baalbek, seizing equipment for producing Captagon and a quantity of cannabis.

During the raid, the patrol came under gunfire from the wanted individuals, and its members returned fire without any injuries reported. The seized items were handed over, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend the shooters.
