Distributing compensation to citizens affected by the Beirut port

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 25/2/2021, the concerned army units continued the process of distributing compensation to the citizens affected by the Beirut port explosion, and an amount of 1,356,800,000 Lebanese pounds was distributed. The number of housing units that benefited from this compensation, which are classified as average and below average, was 206 housing units in the areas of Mar Mikhael, Gemayzeh, Corniche Al- Nahr, Jeitaoui, Sassine, Al-Mdawar, Rmeil, Al-Roum, Rizk. Adliyé, Tabaris, Bourj Hammoud, front de mer de la côte de Dawra, Khandaq el Ghamiq, Bachoura, Zqaq el Blat and Ain Al Mraiseh.

Aid distribution will be continued on 26/02/2021 in the areas of Mina Al-Hosn, Bouchrieh, Sin El Fil, Bourj Hammoud, Karantina, Ashrafieh, Jeitaoui, Sassine, Al-Medawar, Rmeil, Al-Roum, Tabaris, front de mer de la côte de Dawra, Khandaq el Ghamiq, Bashoura and Zqaq el Blat.
