Distributing compensation to citizens affected by the Beirut port explosion

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 18/2/2021, the concerned army units continued the process of distributing compensation to the citizens affected by the Beirut port explosion, and an amount of 2,522,000,000 Lebanese pounds was distributed. The number of housing units that benefited from these compensation, which are classified as average and below average, was 404 housing units in the areas of (Al- Karantina, Mar Mikhael, Al-Gemayzeh, Corniche Al-Nahr, Al-Jeitaoui, Sassine, Al-Mdawar, Al-Rmeil, Al-Rum, Rizk, Al-Adliya, Tabaris, Bourj Hammoud, and Al- Dora water front).

Aid distribution will be continued tomorrow in the aforementioned areas, in addition to the areas of Al-Khandaq Al-Ghamiq - Al-Bashoura and Zqaq Al-Blat.
