Distributing compensation to citizens affected by the Beirut port explosion

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 19/2/2021, the concerned army units continued the process of distributing compensation to the citizens affected by the Beirut port explosion, and an amount of 2,751,700,000 Lebanese pounds was distributed. The number of housing units that benefited from these compensation, which are classified as average and below average, was 446 housing units in the areas of Karantina, Mar Mikhael, Gemayzeh, Corniche Al- Nahr, Jeitaoui, Sassine, Al-Mdawar, Rmeil, Al-Roum, Rizk. Adliyé, Tabaris, Bourj Hammoud, front de mer de la côte de Dor, Khandaq el Ghamiq, Bachoura et Zqaq el Blat.

Aid distribution will be continued on 22/02/2021 in the aforementioned areas.
