Distributing compensation to citizens affected by the Beirut port explosion

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 23/2/2021, the concerned army units continued the process of distributing compensation to the citizens affected by the Beirut port explosion, and an amount of 1,997,000,000 Lebanese pounds was distributed. The number of housing units that benefited from these compensation, which are classified as average and below average, was 330 housing units in the areas of (Al- Karantina, Mar Mikhael, Al-Gemayzeh, Corniche Al-Nahr, Al-Jeitaoui, Sassine, Al-Mdawar, Al-Rmeil, Al-Roum, Rizk, Al-Adliya, Tabaris, Bourj Hammoud, Al- Dora water front, Khandaq Al-Ghamiq - Al-Bashoura, Zqaq Al-Blat and Ain el Mrayse).

Aid distribution will be continued on 24/02/2021 in the aforementioned areas.
